Terms and conditions
The Nissan QASHQAI Urban Proof tips competition (the “Competition”) is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over.
The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of Guardian News & Media Limited ("GNM") or Sponsor, GNM or Sponsor’s group companies or their family members.
Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
To enter the Competition, follow the instructions on Guardian Unlimited. All entries must be received by April 4 2008. The best entry each fortnight for the duration of the competition will receive a TomTom One GB V3 In Car Satellite Navigation system.
Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
GNM reserves the right to edit and publish the entries on the website and in any newspaper published by GNM. All entrants consent to the use by GNM of their names for this purpose.
Entrants shall retain the copyright in their entry and can use it as they choose. Each entrant hereby irrevocably and unconditionally licences to GNM all present and future copyright and all other rights in their entries for the entire period of copyright and any renewals or extensions thereof.
GNM will always try to identify Entrants as the author of the entries but Entrants acknowledge that it is not always possible for GNM to do so. Entrants irrevocably and unconditionally waive their moral rights to be identified as the author of the entries.
The winners will be notified within 7 days of the closing date. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winners will receive the prize as set out on Guardian Unlimited. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. GNM and Sponsor accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
GNM retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
The winners may be required for promotional activity.
GNM and Sponsor accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. GNM and Sponsor further disclaim liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. Nothing shall exclude the liability of GNM and Sponsor for death or personal injury as a result of either party's negligence.
GNM and Sponsor reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control.
The promotion will be governed by English law.
